Offers: Cincinnati, Iowa, Pittsburgh

Prep: (JR) 90 tackles, 5 sacks and 3 interceptions

Analysis:  An extremely physical and superior athlete who naturally plays both ways for Coach Wilcher at Cass Tech.  On offense he is a bruising RB and on defense he is a head-hunting linebacker.  Offensively, Jenkins-Stone has an extremely hard and aggressive running style. Once he lowers his shoulders chances are the tackler is going to get plowed through.  This aggressive running style makes it very tough to successfully tackle him upon initial contact.  Jenkins-Stone is just as aggressive on defense as he is on offense.  Defensively he has a head-hunting type of drive.  He reads plays quickly, which enables him to locate, track and bring down the ball carrier in as little time as possible. When you combine his aggressive play, natural ability to move laterally on the football field and head-hunting style you get a linebacker that is solid in run support.  Additionally, he is strong at the point of contact and drives through ball carriers when making tackles.  His athletic ability allows him to play well in coverage.  Jenkins-Stone will be a highly recruited player in the 2012 class.  If Michigan wants to get in on Jenkins-Stone then the earlier they offer him the better.  Recruits will naturally feel more comfortable with schools that offered them early as opposed to later.  With Michigan looking to take 4 more Linebackers with the possibility of 6 total in the 2011 class, there may not be enough room for Jenkins-Stone.  Recruiting is a crazy roller coaster ride so do not count anyone out just yet.  As always we will bring you the latest and greatest on Jenkins-Stone's recruitment.
