Analysis: One thing Countess will bring to the Wolverine defense is physicality. Saying Countess, 'love to hit' is an understatement. His willingness to step up and hit will be an asset to the defending the run game. Countess has fluid hips that allow him to easily transition from back pedal to straight up coverage. Before being able to break away receiver’s must first try and get past Countess's outstanding jamming ability. What Countess lacks in size, he more than makes up for, with his aggressive style of play. Countess originally committed to the Wolverines on December 17, 2010 but started to waiver when Coach Rodriquez was let go. However, it didn't take long for the new coaching staff to swoop in and re-gain his commitment. Countess will no doubt be a much welcomed addition to the Wolverine secondary by not only fans but coaches. Coach Mattison will almost certainly be excited to see what Countess has to offer as Coach rebuilds Michigan’s battered defense.
