Analysis: Tamani is a good pickup for the Wolverines at a position of need. He has great hip movement and decent closing speed. Tamani is good in coverage and has a keen eye for reading routes. He uses his explosive tendencies to get good breaks on the ball and jump receivers routes. The only downfall with jumping routes is he has a tendency to over estimate the route and will occasionally get beat for big gains.
Tamani needs to improve on his footwork and agility. He would benefit from speed training. He has good coverage skills but needs to learn patience so he wont over estimate routes. Overall he possesses a well rounded skill set. If i had to pick a specialty of his it would be his exceptional ability to tackle in the open field. With Michigan being thin at the CB spot, Michigan fans are hopeful he is able to stand out and bring some much needed relief to a struggling Michigan defense.
